AI Firing Issues in Puma IFV
The gunner of an IFV Puma, when controlled by an AI, refuses to fire the cannon on orders (or the lack of any) from an AI commander. When given a target by a player controlled commander, the gunner will fire. This applies to vehicle targets and infantry targets. Notably, this problem does not occur if the Puma is very close (about 30 meters or so) to the enemy.
Additionally, the AI gunner will not aim the Spike-LR ATGM. Instead, when asked to target an enemy vehicle and fire, the gunner will direct the ATGM to the ground immediately in front of the Puma. Suggested fix is to heighten the initial flight path of the projectile.
